Before summer disappears, let's spend an afternoon outside looking at the little pieces of our lives.
no small photos🔵 is a gathering about getting to know people through the photographs they keep.
Not the photos you post.
Not the photos you take for anyone else.
The ones that ended up in your favorites...
a blurry night.
someone you love.
a place you almost forgot about.
a completely ordinary tuesday.
photos from our last no small talk 🔴 in the park Sept 13th ↓
bring at least 5–6 printed photographs from your life.
They can be old or new, beautiful or terrible, meaningful or completely mundane.
some ideas:
We'll spread out our photographs and start getting curious about each other.
You'll meet people through their pictures, move around, answer some good questions, play a little, and make something with your hands.
You don't need to come with a friend.
In fact, coming alone is encouraged.
At some point, we'll start crafting.
We'll make tiny scrapbooks out of playing cards, using photographs, scraps, questions, and little pieces of the afternoon.
You'll cut, glue, fold, collage, and make your own little playing card scrapbook to take home.
Something small you made yourself. No Chatgpt required. A little record that we were here.
If you're already part of Tiny Photo Club , your photographs will already be waiting for you.
Just pick them up at the park before we begin.
One of the last afternoons of summer.
A few photographs.
Some strangers.
Some good questions.
